Ikos Andalusia is situated on 21 lush acres of perfectly manicured Mediterranean gardens. The luxury hotel is fringed by ancient olive trees providing shade and fragrance to visitors on a vacation. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Ikos Andalusia has over 400 guest rooms and suites, providing a luxurious stay on the Costa del Sol.

Opened in May 2021, the all-inclusive resort provides guests with a luxurious holiday unmatched by other hotels on the Costa del Sol. Whether you are staying for a weekend or longer, Ikos Andalusia is ideal for anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind Spanish retreat. The resort must be experienced to be believed as it isn’t often this much luxury is offered up by a resort.

Ikos Andalusia is near the cosmopolitan city of Marbella, one of the Costa del Sol’s most glamourous destinations. Marbella is routinely one of the most visited travel destinations on the Costa del Sol with visitors enjoying the cities great beaches and nightlife.

The resort provides a Mediterranean lifestyle to travellers with its generous Spanish hospitality. You will be spoilt by the kilometres of sand beaches not far from Ikos Andalusia’s front doors. The southern Spanish shores shimmer in the sunlight inviting beachgoers into the cooling waters of the sea. The resort faces the calm waters of the Playa de Guadalmansa.

The 21-acre property is a short drive from Malaga Airport. Upon landing, it takes around one hour to reach the resort. After arriving at the resort, you will be swept away by its vibrant atmosphere and world-class customer service.

The hotel’s rooms are stunning with large windows and white interiors that magnify the bright space you will spend your holiday in. Ikos Andalusia has over 400 contemporary rooms and suites. Each room is designed to maximize your relaxation, although there are plenty of reasons you may spend time elsewhere at the resort. Many rooms come with private balconies, gardens, pools to enjoy.

There are a variety of room options to select from, including single rooms, double rooms, family suites, and much more. Each room type provides guests with a different experience. Rooms feel more like small apartments rather than hotel rooms. The five-star beach resort is three-storeys tall and the rooms are spread over the resort’s main building and six additional buildings.

Ikos Andalusia is home to seven fantastic restaurants. The hotel prides itself on its culinary offerings. The gourmet food is just another reason guests book all-inclusive holidays with the resort. Along with seven restaurants at Ikos Andalusia are five bars and a snack bar.

When it comes to dining options, you have a wealth of great choices. Anaya is the hotel’s Asian restaurant and its menu is overseen by renowned Thai and Asian cuisine artist, Chef Thiou. She has an award-winning restaurant in Paris and brings the flavours of that restaurant to Ikos Andalusia.

If you would prefer Mediterranean French food, then try out Provence. The menu was crafted Michelin-starred chef, Anthony Jehanno. Ouzo delivers Greek food courtesy of Michelin-starred chef, Lefteris Lazarou. Ouzo combines traditional and modern Greek meals into a fabulous dining experience.

Fresco is the hotel’s Italian offering with a menu by Michelin-starred chef, Ettore Botrini. If you would prefer Iberian foods, as this is Spain, try out Oliva. It provides a twist to traditional recipes from the region.

The Beach Club may be the hotel’s most popular dining experience, however. Guests can sit outside and stare off into the sea, blue skies, or stars, depending on the time of day. The Beach Club serves up European and Africa inspired meals.

Perhaps the best part of Ikos Andalusia, and there are some great parts, is its Infinite Lifestyle. If you fancy a meal at a local restaurant, the bill is covered by the price of your room rate. This doesn’t apply to all local restaurants, only the ones in Marbella and Estepona that partner with Ikos Andalusia. Still, it is an incredible idea and one more resorts and hotels should adopt.

Relaxing in your room and dining at the hotel’s incredible restaurants is great, but there is so much more to do at Ikos Andalusia. The hotel offers a number of activities for guests. Whether you want to spend time indoors or outdoors, you will have the opportunity to do so.

Some of the activities are free with your stay including yoga, tennis, canoeing, mountain biking, and more. There are some activities that come at an extra fee, however. These activities include a football academy for kids, private excursions, tennis academy, private boat tours, and private yacht rental.

The five-star resort offers a tremendous package for kids to enjoy their stay. Ikos Andalusia has a program with indoor and outdoor activities. Each club is supervised providing fun in a safe environment. Parents can drop their youngsters off at the resort’s creche or at one of the age-appropriate kids’ clubs. One of the coolest clubs available is the football academy. Kids from five-years-old to eight-years-old and nine-years-old to 14-years-old can participate in the football academy throughout their stay.

You will find 21 swimming pools at the hotel located indoors and outdoors. If you don’t want to go to the beach, you will have the choice of the hotel’s best views of the sea from its outdoor infinity pool. The swimming pools are made even better by the hotel’s staff, which provides refreshing drinks and snacks to guests as they lounge around soaking up the sun. Ikos Andalusia’s range of pool options and its relaxing cabanas are the perfect destination for each day of your stay. There is really no reason to leave the resort with so many wonderful options.
